Philia is a research project that aims to increase inclusivity in leisure activities for seniors from ethnocultural minorities.
In collaboration with UQAM, we are developing a package of social and leisure activities that will be used by professionals and volunteers working with seniors to help them better reach this clientele that is particularly isolated and at risk of mistreatment. Training will be made available to these intervenors, with emphasis on the intercultural aspects of this project.
Let’s celebrate together
We are organizing festive events in local seniors’ residences in collaboration with l’Office Municipal d’Habitations de Laval. The activities aim to promote living well together through shared celebrations of Québec cultural events.
